Today completes 13 weeks here in a land down under and I feel as if my journey has just begun. God has blessed me with so much and answered so many prayers since my arrival and many of you who have been following me on this journey can attest to it.
I started off the week in a lot of pain, recovering from the marathon. On Monday I ended up calling my boss and asking for the night off of work because I could hardly walk. Tuesday night after work Zac and I went to a bar called, The Backstage. It was open mic night and we ended up going on stage and playing a few songs which was really a lot of fun. Saturday I got to go surf with Ben and Pete again and today I got to help with worship in the morning service playing electric guitar.
This next week I am really excited about! My best friend Erik Johnson is coming to visit and will be arriving here Thursday and staying till Monday. Also Zac and I are playing in a music festival called, Sam Stock on Friday night. A week from today I will be leading worship at DCBC for the night service and this list goes on! Next post should be a good one so make sure you don't miss it!
So glad to here Erik is coming to visit... like old times! heading to broadway fair in the escort, yet soooo much more exciting :) good times, good times! know you two will have a blast!
